1962 Heinkel Tourist 103 A2 For Sale

Mark Foster is selling his wonderfully original Glacier Blue 1962 Heinkel 103 A2 Tourist.

Besides being unrestored, very unique to this particular scooter are:
- Original paint
- Mileage is just under 7600 (actual).
- Registration papers from 1968
- Original Bosch and Varta battery instructions and warranty papers
- Original owners manual
- Original service record-book
- 1960 booklet of Heinkel Service Centers thru-out Europe (in German)
In addition to the above, the scooter also features:
- New upholstery
- Relatively new tires - no more than 1,000 miles on these Continentals
- New top end gaskets
- New mushroom seal
- New air filter
- New cables
- New mirror
- New swingarm cover
Needless to say, this Tourist is 100% ready-to-ride.
The left hand side of the legshield took a bit of damage many years ago. Someone covered it with brush paint to match. The brush paint was removed since it looks better with uncovered metal. (In Colorado, things rarely rust. Plus it has lived in a garage for the past 6 years.) If you feel you must repair this area, the fix would be fairly easy.
