A question for my readers, how tricky do you think the following job is to complete:

The answer is ... a real pain. I think it was a combination of after market parts and new paint.

The seat lock slips into the body work. On the inside, there is small clip that slides over grooves in the lock. This clip keeps the lock in place.

What I discovered was the grooves were not visible. I think the body work that we bought is after market and the thickness was approximately 1/16" too thick. I had to carefully use a dremel to grind down the hole from the inside. Delicate work indeed.
