Michael McWilliams' A1 Facelift

Metal Work.
Evan had a challenge ahead of him.
The nose of my A1 was damaged years ago, and a novice attempted to knock out all of the damage with a pointed tip hammer. Additionally, the base of the nose was no longer symmetrical and two of the bumper mounts were caved in.
Evan was happy to tell me that all of the damage had been repaired without the use of filler.
I was amazed to see his work. I know he is talented - he has painted several scooters in Colorado. But I have never seen his bare metal work. Generally I arrive after paint has been applied.
The hammer damage was gone. The bottom edges were straight and symmetrical. And, there was no filler to be seen. I am extremely happy I had him complete my bodywork.
Take a close look at my pictures to see his repairs. It is difficult to show the extent of the damage, but it is harder to show the expertise of his repair.
Evan kept insisting that I feel the symetry with both hands. Unfortunately, I do not have this talent.
The handlebars had all five of the unnecessary holes welded shut, but they had not been ground smooth.
