TBD. TBD. TBD. TBD.

Base Coat.

Evan called to say that paint would be applied today. I had to see it in person. Again, I am accustomed to seeing the final product, but not the intermediate stages.

The can of paint appeared to me to be too orangey, but when held up next to the headlamp bucket, it looked pretty close. Looking at the original pictures of the scooter also makes me believe this is an extremely accurate match.

My parts were hung and held in different manners all with a purpose.

The smaller pieces require full coverage since they are seen from all angles. The largers pieces really only have paint applied to the "outside" surfaces. The rear body glove compartment requires full paint and the upper part of the seat compartment requires the same.

All other areas do not need full paint. Those are typically just primer green with a little overspray.
